1 day cultural tour + Maji Moto
Highlights: Mulala Village, Chemka Hot Springs
This is a delightful one day trip that begins at Mulala Village and ends at the beautiful Chemka Hot Springs or Maji Moto (firewater) as the locals like to call it. We'll pick you up first thing in the morning in Arusha and head to Mulala Village on the southern slopes of Mt Meru. The Agape women will take you on a short village walk and coffee plantation tour. This visit includes demonstrations, dancing, singing and lunch. After lunch we'll sweep you off to Chemka Hot Springs where you can spend the afternoon swimming in the warm, crystal-clear, turquoise waters of one of Tanzania's most spectacular hot springs. If you're lucky, you'll get a relaxing pedicure from tiny little fish or have some friendly monkeys playing in the palm and fig trees above you. If you aren't a strong swimmer, inner tubes are available for a small fee.
