2 day cultural tour + safari

This is a quick, fun and relaxing trip for people wanting to know more about the life and culture in Tanzania. You’ll start your first day off with a guided tour at the famous market Soku Kuu, then visit the Mulala Village on the southern slopes of Mt Meru. The Agape women will take you on a short village walk and coffee plantation tour. This visit includes demonstrations, dancing, singing and lunch. Later in the afternoon we’ll take you to your lodging for the night at Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge. Here you’ll be able to relax at the pool surrounded by tropical plants and frequent monkey visitors in the trees above you, take a nature walk or go horseback riding. Dinner and breakfast will be served outdoors with a view of their beautiful private lake. After breakfast we’ll sweep you off to Arusha National Park where you’ll enjoy a walking safari with a local ranger. You’ll be up close and personal with some of the park’s wild animals roaming freely in their natural habitat. Later enjoy a picnic lunch and a game drive through the park. You’ll end your journey back in Arusha with one last stop at the Cultural Heritage Center where you can shop and walk through the multi-level art gallery. 

DAY  1

· TOUR & LUNCH AT MULALA VILLAGE

· ARRIVE AT NGARE SERO MOUNTAIN LODGE AROUND 3-4PM

  OPTIONAL: SWIMMING, BOAT RIDES, HIKE OR HORSEBACK RIDING 

· LAKESIDE DINNER (WEATHER PERMITTING)

DAY 2

· AFTER EARLY MORNING BREAKFAST, WALKING SAFARI AT ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK

· LUNCH AT ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK + GAME DRIVE

· DRIVE BACK TO ARUSHA, END WITH VISIT AT THE CULTURAL HERITAGE CENTER
