Highlights: Mulala Village, Soku Kuu
Start the day early with a trip to Arusha’s Central Market, Soku Kuu. This is one of the best places to get a glimpse into Tanzanian life. This guided tour will see you through tight pathways and a lively atmosphere full of the bright colors of exotic fruits, vegetables, pasta, coffee and nuts and the lovely aromatics of Tanzanian spices. If you’re interested in purchasing something, be prepared to barter.. it’s the Tanzanian way! Otherwise, enjoy your tour and take in all the sights and smells! After the market we'll take you to Mulala Village nestled on the southern slopes of Mt Meru. The Agape women will take you on a short village walk and coffee plantation tour. This visit includes demonstrations, dancing, singing and lunch.
